Siobhan Magnus - Show One - Michigan

So, tonight was the first show of the American Idol's Live Summer Tour. The only person I really cared about, though, was Siobhan. I listened via livestream (thanks to ricky.org) to see what she would sing and how she would sound.

First, she sang Paint it Black by the Rolling Stones. The quality wasn't good, but it was clear enough that I could say she rocked it. She sounded amazing; and it builded up the drama. It started off nice and somber, then it dramatically changed and she did her famous wail. The crowd went loudest for her so far.

Her second song was Spider Webs by No Doubt. It was good, not as good as Paint it Black, but it was definitely worth listening to with the terrible quality. She did a faint wail, but it wasn't as loud as Paint it Black. Still amazing.

Last, she sang Stockholm Syndrome by Muse. AMAZING. Better than Paint it Black. Totally hard rock - harder rock than what Carly Smithson had - and it was phenomenal vocally. We heard a couple growls - eep - and a couple wails. It was definitely my favorite song of hers from the tour...not being biased 'cause I love Muse or anything.

Each show I'll blog about the songs and how she did. (: This was just an introduction. :D Can't wait to hear and SEE her next show.

Premier of Venice!

This is my first blog, actually, I made it so I can do stuff like this...so I'm doing it for Venice and I'm hoping I can get the show out there for these really talented actors! :)

So, Crystal Chappell and Jessica Leccia teamed up for a new webseries called Venice...it's following their old "Otalia" story from the now cancelled show Guiding Light.

My opinion, it was as good as anticipated. Crystal--whom I love--played Gina, a gorgeous woman who has a past with Jessica's character, Ani.

I like the way it started out, Ani&Gina kissing on her bed after a night of sex...after not seeing each other for a while. It was the much anticipated kiss, right around the 30 second mark.

Clearly, Owen--Gina's brother, played by Galen Gering--wasn't happy with his sister's choice to have sex with someone who caused her pain a time before...he was phenomenal. No, I'm not biased because I'm in love with him.

:) I'm happy for Crystal, Kimmy and Hope, I hope they have great success with this. Most of all, I can't wait until the next episode airs next week. Hopefully this time it'll have Nadia Bjorlin--who plays Ani's love interest, Lesli Kay--who plays Gina's love interest, and Gina Tognoni who plays Owen's love interest...yes, there's a straight couple.

But then again, the whole show is not based on homosexuality, but it brings a true love to the computer screen--and heats it up, too!--and it shows that you can love anyone.

Also, Crystal Chappell's real life husband--co-star on Days as Lawrence Alamain and on Guiding Light as Vince Russo--will be on the show, too...apparently he has a weird fetish.

I'm hoping the rest of Season 1 will be as good as the first episode...except longer, please, ladies! :)
